Hi, we are Akaash and Srujana. The two people behind Flight and Fashion, a blog born out of two obsessions we could never quite separate: travel and style.

For as long as we can remember, we have believed that where you go and what you wear are part of the same story. A boarding pass is not a ticket to a new place. It is an invitation to become a slightly different version of yourself, and for us that transformation has always shown up in how we dress as much as where we wander.

Flight and Fashion started with a shared frustration. Every travel blog we found focused on itineraries, budgets, and packing hacks. Useful, but empty. Every fashion blog we found assumed you were getting dressed in the comfort of your bedroom, not scrambling through airport security at 5 a.m. Or adjusting your outfit to a climate you had never lived in before. Nobody was talking about the overlap. the place where a good outfit and a great trip meet.

So we decided to build that space ourselves.

We believe you do not have to choose between comfort and style, between practicality and personality. A great travel outfit should survive a 12‑hour flight. Still look good stepping into a rooftop bar in a city you have never been to before. Packing should not mean leaving your sense of self at home. It should be an extension of it.

This blog is where we bring those two worlds together: destination guides that double as style guides, packing lists that go beyond “roll don’t fold,”. Honest reflections on what travel actually feels like. The missed connections, the unexpected upgrades, the outfit that got soaked in a sudden downpour and became a story anyway.

Akaash brings a love for travel, offbeat destinations, and the kind of practical packing wisdom that comes from one too many oversized suitcases at check‑in counters. Srujana brings an eye for style and an instinct for building outfits that transition seamlessly from flight to function and a deep belief that looking good is its form of self‑care. Even 30,000 feet in the air.

Together we write from experience. The trips, the chaotic ones, the outfits that worked and the ones that definitely did not. Nothing here is. Perfect. It is travel, real style and real stories, from two people who refuse to sacrifice one for the other.
